Quality control at Last.fm

Here is a great example of the visible work place being used at Last.Fm.

Of note are the three glowing bears that light up when things are going well (and not so well).

I also love the web response time meter.

    I’ve been in places where the red light was a lava lamp… you can tell by looking at a lava lamp that it is not only on, but also an idea of how long. This combines the response time with the red light.

    Very cool. I love the lava lamp idea.
    Would also give the work place a fun funky felling.
    Kind of like a lounge, but more fun because we would be writing software 😉
